Her Highness (premiere mélange)

Ashton Richards I must confess, I missed Her Highness upon its initial release so I cannot compare the two iterations sonically, but what is presented here is incredibly wonderful. Absent are the harsh, almost industrial tones of Shot Forth Self Living and The Buried Life; vocals are much cleaner and higher in the mix, the arrangements are more complex and interesting than a 3-piece would usually bring to the table. Thoroughly enjoyable. A klanger. Favorite track: Farther Down (premiere mélange).

Michael J Bates A remarkable artifact. Transformed by reinvention, via time travel, thus reducing itself into its original state.
When the corporate grime has been cleared away and the genuine product allowed to stand in its own glory then, here, we have a real work of art. Favorite track: Aarhus (premiere mélange).

  • Limited Edition Double Vinyl
    Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

The first ever vinyl edition of Medicine's third album from 1995 which in this special limited version is presented as originally intended by the group. Let's say we're righting a wrong. This completely different, profoundly superior original mix and sequence by Brad Laner and Eddy Offord (Yes, Plastic Ono Band, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Spontaneous Music Ensemble) also includes many previously unreleased elements. That equals 18 tracks total on double audiophile black vinyl made with love by the people that made the music. Don't hesitate.
